How to use Chromecast on Vizio Smart TV

There is no built-in Chromecast support on Vizio Smart TVs, but you can use an external Chromecast device to cast content from your phone or tablet to the TV.

1. Plug the Chromecast into the HDMI port on your Vizio TV.

2. Download and launch the Google Home app on your phone or tablet.

3. Tap the Devices button in the top-right corner of the app.

4. Tap the + button in the top-left corner of the app.

5. Tap Set up new devices.

7. Tap Chromecast.

13. To completely remove the Chromecast from your Vizio TV, unplug the device from the HDMI port.

If you’re having trouble connecting your Chromecast to your Vizio TV, you can try restarting both devices. You can also try factory resetting the Chromecast.

To factory reset the Chromecast:

1. Plug the Chromecast into the HDMI port on your Vizio TV.

2. Press and hold the button on the Chromecast for about 15 seconds.

3. The Chromecast will restart and the LED light will turn white.
